Dabrowski and Routliffe Split After Winning Three Titles

Date:

Ottawa’s Gabriela Dabrowski and her doubles partner from New Zealand, Erin Routliffe, have decided to end their partnership. Together, they achieved success by winning three doubles titles in 2025, emerging victorious in Stuttgart, Cincinnati, and the U.S. Open.

Reflecting on their journey, Dabrowski shared on Instagram, “Titles, tears, and triumphs—a rollercoaster of emotion that caught us by surprise. While our business partnership is coming to a close, our friendship endures.”

Although Routliffe competes for New Zealand, she is also a Canadian citizen and had previously represented Canada in tennis. The duo began playing together in 2023, clinching the U.S. Open title that same year, marking their first Grand Slam victory.

While the official announcement of their split was made on Wednesday, Dabrowski and Routliffe had already started playing with different partners towards the end of the previous season. However, they reunited for the WTA Finals before ultimately parting ways.
