ICE Agents Drag Disabled Woman from Car in Minneapolis

Date:

Amid escalating clashes in Minneapolis, a video is circulating showing ICE agents dragging a disabled autistic woman from her car as she pleads to go to the doctor. The incident took place just blocks away from where Renee Nicole Good was fatally shot by an ICE agent last week.

The video, posted on YouTube by Freedom News TV, captures the woman sitting in her car with masked ICE agents instructing her to move. Despite unclear dialogue, the agents attempt to open the car door and direct her to drive.

When the woman moves her car slightly, agents break a window and urge her to drive off, amidst shouting between protesters and agents. The situation intensifies as more agents surround the vehicle.

An agent removes the woman from the car, prompting her to mention her disabilities and need to see a doctor. Subsequently, agents remove her seatbelt and detain her while facing resistance from protesters.

ICE’s actions have sparked public outrage and clashes in Minneapolis, with protesters actively challenging the agency’s presence and operations. Tear gas and other crowd control measures were reportedly used during the confrontation.

ICE officers were in the area to execute an arrest warrant, leading to confrontations with protesters and subsequent arrests. The Department of Homeland Security emphasized the need to enforce law enforcement operations despite public interference.

Homeland Security reports over 2,000 arrests in Minnesota since early December, reflecting ongoing tensions between federal authorities and local communities.
