“Club Kid” depicts the journey of Peter, portrayed by writer/director/star Jordan Firstman, as he navigates through the drug-fueled world of the “Club Kid” lifestyle while feeling unfulfilled. Peter, a carefree but discontented man in his thirties, resides in his deceased mother’s spacious New York loft under rent control. He struggles to find motivation after being fired from his job as a party promoter, often attending meetings while still high.
The film also introduces Arlo (played by Reggie Absolom), who unexpectedly appears at Peter’s doorstep a decade after Peter, who is gay, had a regrettable encounter with a British woman at one of his parties.
