The friend, JP MacCallum, who coaches the March and Mill Company Hunters, is currently on leave after his 10-year-old daughter, Selah Panacci-MacCallum, passed away following a battle with cancer.
Despite his busy schedule with the Florida Panthers, Marchand did not hesitate to return home and assist MacCallum during this difficult time. Expressing his deep sorrow, Marchand described Selah as a remarkable girl who touched many lives with her love and joy.
