USA Bobsled and Skeleton recently announced Flavor Flav as their official hype man after his visit to the 2002 Olympic track in Utah. The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, known for his role in Public Enemy, expressed his excitement about joining the team at the upcoming Milan-Cortina Olympics in February.
During his time with the bobsled and skeleton teams, Flavor Flav had the opportunity to ride a bobsled down the Park City track and also attempted skeleton, a headfirst sliding sport known for its high speeds. Despite initial safety precautions recommending a low starting point, Flavor Flav insisted on starting from a higher position, showcasing his determination. On his second run, he reached a speed of 108 km/h, impressing team officials and fellow athletes.
