The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has announced an investigation into a fresh sexual battery accusation against hip-hop icon Sean (Diddy) Combs, who is currently serving a four-year prison term for offenses related to prostitution. A male music producer and publicist reported that during a 2020 photoshoot at a Los Angeles warehouse, Combs exposed himself while masturbating and requested the accuser’s involvement. The accuser, whose identity was withheld in the police report, stated that he refrained from disclosing the incident for years due to embarrassment. However, he recently approached authorities in Largo, Fla., following Combs’ conviction on other charges.
Combs’ legal representative has not yet responded to requests for comment regarding the latest allegations. The L.A. County Sheriff’s Department confirmed receipt of the official report from the Florida department and affirmed its commitment to investigate the claims. Additionally, the report mentions an episode from March 2021 where the accuser alleged being restrained by two individuals before Combs entered the room and accused him of betrayal.
In a separate legal development, Combs was found guilty in July of transporting his partners and male sex workers across the United States for drug-fueled sexual liaisons in various locations over an extended period. Notably, he was acquitted of more severe charges such as sex trafficking and racketeering that could have resulted in a life sentence. His projected release date is in May 2028; however, he may earn sentence reductions through participation in rehabilitation programs and other prison activities.
