Taylor Swift enthusiasts will soon have the opportunity to experience the remarkable conclusion of the singer’s Eras Tour in Vancouver from last December. Good Morning America revealed on Monday the upcoming release of a new film named “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour: The Final Show,” set to debut on Disney+. The movie will showcase a complete concert film of Swift’s last performance on the Eras Tour at B.C. Place.
Accompanying the film will be a six-episode docuseries focusing on the tour, with the initial two episodes scheduled for release on December 12. Canada served as the ultimate destination for the 149-show, 20-month Eras Tour, attended by over 10 million fans across 19 countries.
Fans had started speculating about a potential film after witnessing a camera crew documenting Swift’s final three shows in Vancouver. Notably, Swift confirmed that the title track of her 12th studio album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” concludes with live audience sounds from the sold-out B.C. Place concert.
The new concert feature, set to drop just before Swift’s 36th birthday, should not be confused with the 2023 film “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour,” which preceded the release of her 11th album, “The Tortured Poets Department.” The latter era was incorporated into the tour in May 2024 and is not included in the initial concert film but will be highlighted in the movie premiering on December 12.
