During his time with Toronto this season, Bruihl appeared in 15 games but did not secure any wins or losses, posting a 5.27 earned-run average. He notably pitched in one postseason game, contributing to the Blue Jays’ victory over the New York Yankees in the American League Division Series.
Aged 28, Bruihl made his Major League Baseball debut with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2021 and has previously played for the Colorado Rockies and Pittsburgh Pirates.
