“Banksy Unveils New London Mural of Children Pointing Up”

Date:

Street artist Banksy has potentially confirmed the creation of a new mural in London, featuring two children laying down and pointing upwards. The artwork, appearing on a wall in Bayswater, west London, sparked speculation about Banksy’s involvement before the artist shared photos of it on his official Instagram account on Monday.

The black and white mural, situated above a garage, showcases two individuals adorned in winter attire, lying on the ground, with one of them pointing upwards. A similar image surfaced at the base of a tower in central London on the same day, although Banksy did not share this version on his social media account.

Originating from Bristol, England, Banksy has risen to global fame as a prominent artist, with his pieces fetching millions at auctions and attracting attention from thieves and vandals. While his typical works often critique government stances on migration and warfare, this latest creation appears devoid of a blatant political message.

In September, Banksy garnered attention with a mural portraying a judge wielding a gavel over an unarmed protester with a blood-stained placard. The piece, displayed on the exterior of a Royal Courts of Justice edifice, was swiftly concealed due to the site’s historical significance, as authorities deemed its removal necessary.
