Aiden Pleterski, known as the “Crypto King,” found himself in a harrowing situation during his abduction when his captor, Deren Akyeam-Pong, threatened his life with a gun in a chilling encounter.

In a terrifying turn of events, Pleterski was subjected to a traumatic 13-second ordeal captured in a video during his abduction in 2022. This video was presented in court as evidence during Akyeam-Pong’s recent admission of guilt in multiple charges, including kidnapping and assault.

The kidnapping unfolded on December 5, 2022, when Pleterski, innocently meeting what he thought was a potential investor, was instead held at gunpoint in a pickup truck in Toronto. Over the following three days, he endured a series of tortures, including waterboarding, burns, and beatings, as he was shuttled between different locations in southern Ontario.

New revelations from the court documents shed light on the horrifying events that transpired during Pleterski’s captivity, including the involvement of other individuals in the criminal scheme.
