French skier Cyprien Sarrazin has made a remarkable comeback to the slopes following a serious head injury he sustained a year ago. Sarrazin required surgery for brain bleeding after a crash during training for a World Cup downhill event on the same course designated for the 2026 Winter Olympics. Sharing a video on Instagram, Sarrazin expressed his joy at skiing again, emphasizing the unique sensations and the progress he has made. Despite acknowledging the ongoing recovery journey and existing knee discomfort, Sarrazin remains positive, considering this a significant milestone. In an interview with L’Equipe newspaper, Sarrazin mentioned his desire to return to skiing, potentially not in a competitive capacity, two months after the accident.
