With a career 2.74 goals-against average and .909 save percentage in over 300 NHL games, Jarry’s arrival is expected to bolster the Oilers’ goaltending depth.
The trade also involved Kulak, a 31-year-old defenseman from Edmonton, who played a significant role in the team’s recent playoff campaigns. Kulak, in the final year of a $2.75 million contract, was included in the deal to facilitate the financial aspects. Additionally, the acquisition of Stastney, a 25-year-old defenseman with notable mobility and defensive skills, further enhances the Oilers’ defensive lineup.
Poulin, a 24-year-old right-winger from Quebec, joins the Oilers with promising AHL statistics, adding depth to the team’s forward ranks.
