Trump Approves New Pipeline for U.S.-Canada Oil Movement

U.S. President Donald Trump has granted multiple pipeline permits, including one for a new pipeline construction to enhance the movement of crude oil and petroleum products between the United States and Canada. The White House disclosed the details.

The authorization for constructing the pipeline facilities in Burke County, North Dakota, was awarded to the Bakken Pipeline Company. Additionally, permits for the maintenance and operation of existing pipelines at border locations have been issued to various companies. These include Bakken Pipeline Company for Burke County, North Dakota; Enbridge Energy for St. Clair County, Michigan; and Enbridge Energy for Pembina County, North Dakota.
