New Email Links Prince Andrew to Virginia Giuffre’s Claims

Date:

Ten months following the passing of Virginia Giuffre, a new email has surfaced, seemingly corroborating her claim of encountering and being photographed with Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor. Unearthed from the extensive Jeffrey Epstein-related documents released by the U.S. Department of Justice, the email from 2015, addressed to Epstein and purportedly sent by “G Maxwell,” likely referring to Ghislaine Maxwell, is labeled as a “draft statement.”

The email recounts a meeting in London in 2001, where Giuffre allegedly interacted with Prince Andrew and had a picture taken, presumably to share with acquaintances. Though the individual discussed in Maxwell’s correspondence remains undisclosed in the released document, Giuffre had previously accused the former prince of engaging in sexual activities with her on multiple occasions, including an incident at Maxwell’s London residence in 2001 when Giuffre was 17, a scenario alluded to in the 2015 email.

Mountbatten-Windsor has consistently refuted the allegations of misconduct and asserted never meeting Giuffre. When approached by CBC News for comment, his representatives had not responded at the time of reporting.

Sky Roberts, Giuffre’s sibling, emphasized the significance of the email. Following the revelation, he and his spouse, Amanda Roberts, participated in a segment on BBC’s Newsnight, expressing their belief in the email’s validating nature and advocating for support of survivors.

Giuffre’s posthumously published memoir, “Nobody’s Girl,” unveiled in October 2025, delves into her accusations against Epstein, Maxwell, and Mountbatten-Windsor. Maxwell is presently serving a 20-year sentence in the U.S. for sex trafficking offenses related to Epstein.

In a separate 2015 email to Epstein, Maxwell indicated a need to distance herself from certain activities and affirmed unawareness of specific events transpiring at her residence, including any massage involving Andrew.

Mountbatten-Windsor, in a 2019 interview with Newsnight, denied recollection of being photographed with Giuffre, claiming to have been at a Pizza Express on the purported evening at Maxwell’s house. He underscored the challenges in verifying the authenticity of the photo but maintained no memory of its existence.

Having settled a civil lawsuit with Giuffre in 2022 through an undisclosed charitable contribution, Mountbatten-Windsor’s association with Epstein, a convicted sex offender, continues to cast a shadow over the Royal Family. Despite relinquishing all royal titles and privileges in 2025, including vacating his residence at Royal Lodge, scrutiny regarding his ties to Epstein persists.

At a recent public event, a bystander confronted King Charles about his brother Andrew’s connections to Epstein, underscoring the ongoing public interest and unanswered questions surrounding the matter.

Giuffre’s relatives have called for a thorough police inquiry, commending her bravery. Amanda Roberts cited Giuffre’s statement, affirming the truth of her account and urging a quest for justice.

Lisa Phillips, another survivor of Epstein’s abuses, advocated for Mountbatten-Windsor to testify before Congress, emphasizing the importance of uncovering misconduct by influential figures and the need for accountability.

The call for transparency and accountability in addressing past wrongdoings involving prominent individuals remains a focal point in the ongoing Epstein saga.
