“Clintons’ Testimonies on Epstein Made Public”

Date:

Former U.S. President Bill Clinton and his spouse, Hillary Clinton, the ex-Secretary of State, underwent over nine hours of questioning last week regarding the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Their testimonies have been made public to a Republican-controlled congressional committee.

The depositions occurred in their hometown of Chappaqua, New York, and involved inquiries about Epstein, who passed away in 2019 in a New York City jail following his indictment, and Ghislaine Maxwell, his associate currently serving a lengthy prison sentence for federal sex-trafficking crimes.

During the testimony, Hillary Clinton affirmed she had never met Epstein, and there is no credible evidence to dispute her claim.

In a public statement, Bill Clinton asserted that he was unaware of any crimes committed by Epstein during their association. He mentioned that had he been aware, he would have reported Epstein himself. Clinton also stated that he never witnessed any illicit activities or underage girls on Epstein’s plane.

Clinton’s deposition closely aligned with what he had previously written about his relationship with Epstein in a book from 2024. Maxwell, in her interviews with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, also mentioned that Clinton did not show a particular interest in Epstein, viewing him simply as a wealthy individual with a private plane.

The nature of the relationship between Clinton and Epstein was described as transactional, where Epstein offered the use of his plane to Clinton in exchange for discussions on various topics such as economics and politics. Clinton affirmed that nothing inappropriate was ever discussed during these conversations, and foundation staff and Secret Service agents were always present during the plane rides.

Despite Epstein’s criminal history, including a conviction in 2008 for soliciting prostitution from a minor, Clinton stated that no law enforcement agency had ever approached him regarding Epstein. Clinton also mentioned that the relationship ended in 2003 when Epstein showed little interest in Clinton’s global health initiatives.

Regarding the released photos, both Clintons and Maxwell confirmed their relationship spanned several years. A photo from the Epstein Files Transparency Act showed Clinton in a pool with Maxwell and another unidentified individual. Clinton clarified that the photo was taken during a stopover in Brunei and that no inappropriate activities occurred.

In response to allegations from Virginia Giuffre and Maria Farmer, Clinton denied visiting Epstein’s Caribbean estate and stated he did not recall visiting Epstein’s New Mexico ranch. The former president also defended himself against past allegations, emphasizing his lack of involvement in Epstein’s illicit activities.

The Clintons engaged in negotiations with Republican committee chair James Comer to ensure a fair and accurate portrayal of their testimonies. The depositions were conducted professionally, with minimal disruptions, and the video recordings were promptly released to the public within two business days for transparency.

The Clintons can now be observed and heard in the deposition videos without the sensationalism often associated with public congressional hearings.
