A White House official confirmed the removal of a 25% duty on all Indian imports related to Russian oil purchases.
In response, Modi pledged to purchase over $500 billion worth of U.S. energy, technology, agricultural, and other products. India heavily relies on oil imports, with about 90% of its requirements being covered by imports, particularly from Russia.
